Now that spring is sprung, the Green has come to life, with wildflowers, bees and butterflies filling the air with scent and sound.

We recently had visits from Rotherfield Primary School, who spent two mornings exploring the Green, pond dipping and drawing maps.  The children all had a wonderful time as did the Trustees who volunteered to help them with their activities.

The pond dipping demonstrated that there is a multitude of wildlife living within the pond.  The children found newts, water cockroaches and water boatmen to name but a few.  Some were also lucky enough to see a frog in the stream by the boardwalk.

The date of our AGM has now changed, due to the General Election.  It will now been held on 23 June at 7.30pm.  We will be launching our website then and cutting the 10th Anniversary Birthday Cake.

We hope to see you there.
