Friends
The Friends of Rotherfield Millennium Green was set up in 2002 to give those wishing to support the Green the opportunity to do so, whether in cash or kind.
Registered Friends receive regular update on progress, developments and events, in particular free delivery of editions of “Greenpiece“.
Greenpiece, edited by John Richardson, the Hon. Secretary to the Trust, is a regular publication, now in colour. It gives new, views and topical comment about the Green.
The Friends currently number more than 130, drawn from households in Rotherfield and beyond.
You can become a Friend by making an annual donation of £12 or more. For an application form, click on the drop down menu “Friends Application Form”.
All money received will be used to meet essential costs of running the Green, such as hedge, fence and bridge repair, insurance, enhancing the area for wildlife, and providing resources for those, especially children, who want to learn more. Funds will also be used for improving the Green and the amenities it provides.
The services of the Trustees and the Wardens are of course provided entirely without charge.
